at Unique Holiday Season Festival

Canby Asparagus Farm is hosting its 2nd Annual Tamale Festival this weekend at the Clackamas County Fairgrounds in Canby. Event hours are 11:00am to 8:00pm on Friday & Saturday, November 30th & December 1st, and 11:00am to 6:00pm on Sunday, December 2nd.
Forty varieties of Canby Asparagus Farm’s home-style tamales will be featured at the Festival to both sample and purchase, with a wide range of fillings to suit your tamale needs. Varieties include their basic Chicken or Pork Tamale, their more exotic Crab Tamale featuring Oregon Dungeness Crab, their Greek Tamale with Alsea Acre goat cheese, and Canby Asparagus Farm’s signature Asparagus Tamale served either plain or with Chicken or Pork.
Tamale making experts will demonstrate the art of tamale making throughout the weekend. There will also be demonstrations on how to make corn tortillas.
Canby Asparagus Farm vends at 13 farmers markets each week from Eugene to Astoria during the market season.
